Si ce gradient existe en minerais de potassium-roulement, ils auront des âges de K-Ar apparier rudement le calendrier évolutionnaire, sans n'importe quelle relation au temps réel. Apparently not. A gradient of argon (and of helium) has been observed in non-potassium-bearing minerals. The oldest minerals have the most argon. If this gradient exists in potassium-bearing minerals, they will have K-Ar ages roughly matching the evolutionary timescale, without any relation to real time.
