Intereses Generales
Art Chadwick entre sus intereses estan sedimentología basinal y suprabasinal, incluyendo el análisis de corrientes Paleozoicas y otras estructuras direccionales. También está involucrado con la investigación de sistemas deposicionales Cambrian basal y en procesos de agua profunda en un número de áreas, incluyendo trabajos sobre los Tapeats Sandstone en la región del Gran Cañón. Su trabajo en la corriente paleozoica toma áreas muy lejos en el globo en investigación de nuevas fuentes de información.
Investigación Actual
Chadwick está actualmente trabajando con Elaine Kennedy del Instituto de Geociencia y con Chris Prince de USC en los sistemas deposicionales de Tapeats Sandstone localizados en el Gran Cañón y Arizona Central. En adición, él está trabajando con Darryl Maddox de Amarillo CC sobre el Permotriassic, de Palo Duro Canyon, y Tom Zoutwelle de Holanda, sobre esquemas globales de las corrientes paleozoicas en Phanerozoic.
